More progress on the bjd...she is strung!

Here are some more pictures of the bjd I am currently working on. I got her strung today, I always love to play and pose a ball joint doll! They are such fun to make, but just as fun to play with!! I hope you like her so far. She is a forgotten toy, I call her "Forgotten Columbina...an Automata Pantomime". More pics coming...I costume and wig her tonight, when I finish I will post new pictures...stay tuned!!

Again, she's just awesome Kori! You know you have done a great job when the doll even looks great naked. She poses so gracefully! I keep saying I am going to learn the art of BJD..it seems so hard to me..I also want to learn to create a Marionette, guess all those things will come in time. Back to the grindstone here, just wanted to take another peek at this lil beauty! I will be watching for more on her. XOXO Christel

Thank you again Christel! I am costuming tonight...I need to have her finished tomorrow! She will be mailed out on monday for IDEX! eeek! I have had so many requests to teach a class or do a tutorial on polymer bjds...I am planning on doing one, of course it will have to wait until after I get all my work done for upcoming shows and finish my commissions...maybe by June sometime! Send me your email and I will put you on my mailing list. You can email me privately at turtle.child@yahoo.com. Thanks Again! hugs!

Kori,

She's absolutely lovely! I can't wait to see her in person at IDEX.

I would so love to see a tutorial from you on your BJD making. I'll patiently wait however long it takes. :-)
